Candied Smoked Salmon Dip

This creamy dip blends tangy cream cheese with candied smoked salmon, capers, lemon, and a touch of horseradish for a rich, savoury-sweet bite. Perfect with bagel chips or crackers, it makes an elegant appetizer that’s rich and refreshing.

8-12 appetizer servings. Makes about 1 – 1 ½ cups.

Ingredients

5 oz softened cream cheese
1 teaspoon capers
2 tablespoons red onion chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons horseradish cream
4 oz candied smoked salmon, chopped very fine
1 tablespoon parsley or cilantro

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Serve with bagel chips.
  3. Makes about 1 or 1 ½ cups.
