Ingredients
Ready-made puris from an Indian store
Mashed potato, salted and peppered
Finely chopped onion, cilantro, and green deseeded chilies
Sweet tamarind chutney
spicy green chutney
Fine sev, ready made from the Indian store
Cut up cilantro for garnish
Lime wedges for squeezing atop the puris
Directions
- Bring the puris to room temperature, if frozen.
- Cover the circumference with a medium layer of mashed potato.
- Layer with onion, cilantro, and chilies.
- Add a layer each of the two chutneys.
- Sprinkle generously with sev, and finish with a garnish of cilantro.
- Serve with a wedge of lime for squeezing on top.
